This piece was created as an awareness piece on marfan syndrome.
It is also a personal piece on my life with marfan’s.
My process in creating this piece was to use body parts as
a specific theme in the piece. Each picture is of myself with
emphasis on how my body is affected by marfan syndrome.
As this was a personal piece it was up to me to decide the
final result. I felt this piece was very successful in portraying
my life with marfan’s and as a marfan’s awareness
piece.
In this poster, the goal was to create a poster with a famous
quote that was targeted towards soccer moms who drive SUV’s
and read the Wallstreet Journal.
I felt that the best way to make this poster successful was
to use a background that the target audience could relate
to.
The final result is a poster that demonstrates elegant and
bold typography along with the use of imagery targeted towards
the target audience.
The goal of this piece is to promote an annual book fair
at Powells Book store in Portland Oregon. It was important
for this piece to be in a similar style of another artist.
The process I used here was to recreate A.M. Cassandre’s
L’Atlantique with new forms. Since the piece is for
a book fair, I used books, bookmarks, and a pulp factory to
recreate this piece in my own way.
The end result turned out to be a unique piece which displayed
my skills with digital illustration.
The goal of this piece is to bring about culture awareness
in the United States. I wanted people to be aware of their
culture, and the cultures that surround them everyday.
My process for this piece was to create a bus advertisement
promoting culture awareness. One poster is for the outside
of the bus. The other piece is more literal and is for the
inside of a bus.
I feel the result of this piece was very successful. It presented
an interesting design, while promoting Cultural awareness. |
